I don’t charge for things I do.
I really like what I do, which is why I continue to do it.
Capitalism forces us to live transactional lives, at least for the most part. In art, I really don’t want to do that.
So I work for free, and have fun doing it.
Occasionally, I’ll run across someone who really got helped by something I said or did, and they want to give me something. I like pebbles. So you can send me a tiny pebble from where you live or someplace you love to visit. I got two from Egypt not that long ago. Love that!
(Just got a few more from Mt. Pilatus in Switzerland!)
And/or if pebbles don’t seem quite enough to express how you feel about things, then you can send me a gift of money through PayPal using [email protected]. You don’t have to. Here’s what my email signature says:
Gift only what you are comfortable with. Gift what matches the feeling you are having, but if you only have enough for bread and/or rent, don’t give now. I am OK. I will continue to be OK.
